Test Wii skill in downtown tournament

Wii video game enthusiasts get a chance to compete at the Interactive Gaming Tournament at Grand Wayne Convention Center on Jan. 31.

The tournaments include Wii Sports: Bowling, Mario Kart Wii and Guitar Hero: World Tour Wii. Register at McVan’s Video Games or at www.mcmillencenter.org. The fee is $10.

Raptor program for preschoolers

Children ages 2-5 get a chance to “rap about raptors” at the Salamonie Interpretive Center on Jan. 21 and 22. The program, which will teach children about raptors and their habits, will run from 10-11:30 a.m. each day. To register for the event, which costs $2 per child, call the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.
